The teams wore national colors, and thongs. Since the national colors were done in body paint, and the women were nude from the waist up, so there was little chance that these women would be swapping shirts after the event. But that didn't seem to bother anyone present. The soccer game may not have been of the highest quality, but what it lacked in quality was more than made up for in enthusiasm.
This was a match, organized by chat room and put on as a morale booster. The media looking a good story, and a break from the training camps attended the event heavily. In the end Austria went on to win the match, which they hoped would be a morale booster for their team playing in euro 2008.
